Weather & setting
Rionegro sits above 2,100 metres on the high plateau east of Medellín: temperate days and cool nights year-round. Worth telling guests to bring a layer for after sunset.
The plateau has two rainy seasons: April–May and September–November. Both spaces are covered, so a mid-afternoon downpour never moves the celebration.
The estate is organised around a lake, with tall eucalyptus and open pasture behind. Outdoor ceremonies are set beneath the trees and cocktail hour moves to the deck above the water.
